Detroit - It's the battery cables, car manufacturers BMW have to do a recall of about 570,000 units of cars in the U.S. and Canada.

Quoted in USA Today, the withdrawal applies to the 3 Series sedan model year 2007 to 2011, Series 1 in 2008 to 2012, and the Z4 sports car output 2009 to 2011.

Battery cables and terminals fuse in the car can be damaged over time, and this led to power outages. If this happens the effect is obvious, causing the engine to die suddenly.

BMW said that because of this, there has been one minor accident in Canada, but did not result in injury.

As in other parts of the country, the BMW 3 Series is the most popular cars that dominate the luxury car sales in the U.S.. In the U.S. there are a total of 100,000 units of the 3 Series cars were sold last year
